In my book Changing Ones: Third and Fourth Genders in Native North America, I briefly summarized Lozen’s career. Since then I’ve been able to do additional research, which has lead to me attribute even greater significance to her role in Apache history. I originally posted this slideshow in PowerPoint format in 2005. Now I've been able to update it and convert it to a more user-friendly Flash presentation.
